Nadine Bongaerts is a postdoctoral researcher in synthetic biology at Systems Engineering & Evolution Dynamics (SEED) INSERM U1284 and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research. Here, she works on the development of engineered E. coli strains with TB drug targets as a cost-effective, rapid and easy-to-scale tool for antibiotic discovery as well as ways to improve our understanding of antibiotic resistance.
